Market Commentary for the week ended June 19, 2009

The first installment of advance taxes offered a mixed picture. Corporate are required to pay 15% of the total anticipated profits for the entire year as first installment The overall payments structure was flat with all sector contributing on the fringes except the banking sector. At every level keep on accumulating the equity shares of banking companies especially the PSU banks.
